With its colorful gameplay and infinite creative potential, Minecraft has become one of the most beloved video game franchises of all time. And now, it’s getting even better with a brand new update! Whether you’re a veteran of the Minecraft world or a newcomer to this exciting world of crafting and exploration, the next Minecraft update is sure to have something for you to enjoy.
What is Coming in the Next Minecraft Update?
The first major addition to the update is the introduction of Minecraft Earth, the long awaited augmented reality counterpart to the classic Minecraft experience. With Earth, players can explore a world populated by mobs and structures from the original game, all rendered in stunning 3D. With the help of their smartphone camera, players will be able to capture various resources for their own personal Minecraft builds, as well as collaborate with other players in virtual spaces. The possibilities for Minecraft Earth are almost endless, and creative players are sure to find plenty of uses for the app.
The new update also adds dozens of new features and enhancements to the existing Minecraft experience. Players can now customize their worlds to an unprecedented degree with a range of powerful new terrain generation tools. This includes the ability to add rivers, mountains, and deserts, ensuring that every world you create is completely unique.
It’s no surprise then that several of the new features we know about for 1.20 are centered around building: new aesthetic blocks and a functional bookshelf. We’re also getting a nod towards adventure with the new camel mount and archaeology—both found in the deserts.
Players can also take advantage of a new control scheme that allows them to play with just one hand. This includes an intuitive interface that simplifies the process of digging and building, as well as a new cursor that allows the player to easily select and manipulate blocks.
For those looking to take their game to the next level, the update also adds an exciting PvP mode, allowing players to compete against their friends and enemies in a series of fast paced mini-games. This will be a great way to test your skill and show off your creativity to the world.
Finally, the update also offers improved gameplay balancing and bug fixes, ensuring that the game runs smoothly and accurately. With the help of these fixes, players should experience fewer crashes, lags, and other game-breaking issues.
If you’re ready to take your Minecraft experience to the next level, make sure to check out the latest update for the game. With all its new features and enhancements, the update promises to be a great way to discover a world of endless possibilities!
Next Minecraft Update: Release Date
During the Minecraft Live 2022 event in October, game developer Mojang revealed that the next major Minecraft 1.20 update won’t release until 2023. Following the previous release patterns, we expect this update to reach the players in April or June 2023. This is much later than the previous speculations, but hopefully, the additional wait will be worth it.
As we’d all been anticipating, Minecraft 1.20 will be the next major Minecraft update coming in 2023. Despite all the features announced, it still doesn’t have its own title yet, although we’ll be hearing about it soon.
